International operators are not losing interest in the destination as the tourist office foresees 14,200 additional rooms in the next three to five years, which will strengthen the current supply of 28,890 rooms. In 2015 alone, the peninsula will open five new hotels: the Ritz-Carlton Macao with 250 suites, the JW Marriott Hotel Macao with 1,100 rooms and the Hollywood Roosevelt Macao Hotel with 373 rooms, the 3,000-room Parisian Hotel, and a St Regis with 460 rooms (within the Las Vegas Sands complex in Sands Cotai Central). Other properties are also scheduled to open in the coming years: Wynn Palace in 2016, and then Palazzo Versace hotels and Liboa Palace Hotel at the Lisboa Palace Resort complex in 2017.
