
The group continues development in Southeast Asia with the opening of a first hotel operated under the brand Campanile in Vietnam. The property will open in August.
Located on the seafront, in Da Nang Bay, the Campanile Cocobay Hotel will open in August with 360 rooms. It is close to international golf courses, as well as many cultural sites recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO. This is the first collaboration of the group with Empire Group, the owner of the property.
Campanile CocoBay is the brand's second hotel in Southeast Asia, after the opening of a first Campanile hotel in China in 2016. Louvre Hotels group, which wants to strengthen its presence in this region, also bought Indian group Sarovar last February. As of January 1, 2016, Campanile ranked 79th largest hotel chain in the world, with a portfolio of 393 properties and 27,144 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality On.
