Steigenberger Hotel Group announced the implantation of its brand InterCityHotel in Rotterdam in 2017.
Steigenberger Hotel Group is strengthening its presence on the Dutch market and has announced the opening of its first hotel in the city of Rotterdam under its brand InterCityHotel. Planned for the year 2017, the property will be opened in a brand new building near Rotterdam Central Station. It will have 180 rooms, all with a minimum surface area of 20 square meters, and 440 square meters of meeting spaces.
"With the biggest port in Europe, Rotterdam is an important commercial and industrial center. This makes it a perfect destination for a hotel under the InterCityHotel brand," declared Puneet Chhatwal, CEO of Steigenberger Hotels AG.
The hotel group currently has a portfolio of 97 hotels that are operational or under development, in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Egypt and China.
