InterContinental Hotels group is working with Dominvs Group to develop Holiday in in the UK with a conversion in Scotland and new build in Manchester.

Holiday Inn continues to strengthen its brand on the British market after London. In a partnership with Dominvs, InterContinental Hotel Group will open two new hotels through a conversion to open its first Holiday Inn in Scotland with the Holiday Inn Dumfries this spring under a franchise agreement and a new construction by IHG's owner-partner for the Holiday Inn Manchester - City Centre to open in 2016.

The Holiday Inn Manchester - City Centre property will bring a total of 306 rooms to the group at a destination. The property will feature the brand's signature Open Lobby. The 71-room Holiday Inn Dumfries will be the first Holiday Inn in Dumfries. Its central location near Easterbrook Hall and Conference Centre coupled with its excellent conference facilities will help support rising demand from business travelers.
