Accor will establish its brand ibis Styles in Brazil, with the opening of three new properties in Joinville and Belo Horizonte.

Accor, already present in South America with 250 properties on different segments (luxury, upscale, midscale and economy), has decided to launch three properties in Brazil through its brand ibis Styles, which has 233 hotels in 21 countries. Three destinations have been selected for these developments in Brazil: Joinville in the south of the country, Belo Horizonte Minascentro and Belo Horizonte Pampulha.

The group wishes to make use of this dynamic to open three other properties by the end of the year 2014, Anhembi SP ibis Styles, Ponta Porã ibis Styles and Balneário Camboriú ibis Styles. Finally, for 16 contracts and an investment of 75 million euros, in 2017 the brand Ibis Styles should have 19 properties in the country, in the towns of Balneário Camboriú, Ponta Porã, São Paulo, Goiânia, Palmas, Taguatinga, Três Ríos, Campinas, Birigui, Salvador, Ribeirão Preto, Guarujá.

Accor's growth in Brazil is part of the group's strategy to expand the network to more than 400 properties for 65,000 rooms in Latin America by the year 2017.
