Hyatt expands its global network with the opening of Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga with 123 rooms as the first Hyatt hotel in Ontario.

Chief Executive Officer Celso Thompson said:

We are delighted to introduce Ontario's first Hyatt Place Hotel in the Mississauga area. With our intelligently designed spaces, including scalable and adaptable meeting and event rooms, and rooms with separate work and sleeping areas, guests can easily multi-task and accomplish what they need to do on the road.

Hyatt Place Toronto / Mississauga Centre is located in the heart of Mississauga's business district and close to Square One shopping centre. The property offers 123 rooms, a fitness centre, salt water pool, and a market serving pre-packaged meals, any time of the day.

The opening of Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre is an important step in expanding the Hyatt brand presence across Canada," said Rodahl Leong-Lyons, Hyatt Regional Vice President of Operations and Sales for Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Hotels in Canada. The Hyatt Place brand is on a tremendous trajectory - its growth illustrates the success of the selected service model as it continues to create value for our guests and owners.
