After achieving a portfolio of 10,000 rooms in the destination this year, the hotel group announced the opening of four additional hotels in Istanbul and Izmir.
Hilton Worldwide strengthens its presence in Turkey and announces the development of four new hotels at the destination, in the cities of Istanbul and Izmir. The properties will be developed under the DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton brands and will open their doors over the next two years.
Doublee Tree by Hilton Izmir - Alsancak, with 115 rooms, will be the first to open in 2014, after renovation works for 1 million dollars to convert the existing Yildizhan Hotel. It will be followed by the Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul Beylikduzu, with 126 rooms, which is scheduled to open in 2015. Finally, two other properties are scheduled for 2016: the Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Dolapdere with 170 rooms and the Hilton Garden Inn Izmir Bayarakli with 182 rooms.
Having announced 10,000 rooms at the destination earlier this year, Hilton Worldwide now has 24 hotels operating in Turkey and 25 other properties under development.
