
Louvre Hotels Group's brand announced the opening of six new properties on the territory in 2014.
2014 will also have been the year of renovations for Golden Tulip in Aix-les-Bains with 101 rooms and the laying of the first stone for the Golden Tulip Euromed in Marseille for 210 rooms, scheduled to open in 2016.
Since its operational merger with Louvre Hotels Group three years ago, the brand Golden Tulip more than doubled its supply in France, growing its portfolio to 16 hotels from 7 previously. The development of brands should continue in the years to come with secured projects such as Golden Tulip Marseille Chanot, the Golden Tulip in Pornic and the Golden Tulip Montpellier Saint Roch.

On, January 1, 2014, Golden Tulip was the 73rd global brand in terms of rooms according to the classification realized each year by MKG Hospitality, hospitality consulting firm founded by Georges Panayotis. The chain had 156 hotels and 23,319 rooms internationally. (Read our report)
