Global Lodging Forum

During the 19th edition of the Global Lodging Forum, relations between OTAs and hotel groups will be the subject of a round table with representatives of international actors such as Accor, Roomforday, Google, vente-privee.com, Choice Hotels International and Booking.

Tense relations between OTAs and hotel groups have calmed down, either by obligation or by choice once the respective strengths and contributions have been taken into consideration. What is happening with the strategies implemented by the different players: sincere and beneficial partnerships? Legal battles and offensive investments? Conquest of new markets and preservation of businesses? Is the world of online distribution stabilised or must we wait for newcomers, new economic models, new restructurings? Do hotel groups still have the means to maintain their privileged distribution canal? theri commercial marge and to manage their room inventory fully independently?

Representatives of international players on the sector will be present at the 19th edition of the Global Lodging Forum to answer these questions at the round table called:

More than 500 of the managers of the biggest hotel groups have just assessed the business circumstances at French, European and global hotel chains. Across two days the Global Lodging Forum will alternate MKG Hospitality's detailed market analysis, the thematic round tables and most importantly the informal encounters that become business meetings during the different breaks.
