The Mandarin Oriental Group and TEMES S.A. will open its first Mandarin Oriental hotel in Greece this spring 2023.
The Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino luxury resort will be set in 140 hectares of natural landscape in Navarino Bay. The beachfront hotel will feature 99 rooms, including 48 pool villas, all with outdoor terraces, and five restaurants and bars.
The property will also feature a spa and fitness centre, as well as Mandarin Oriental's signature wellness therapies in various treatment rooms.
James Riley, group managing director of Mandarin Oriental.
We are delighted to open our first property in Greece, at Costa Navarino, and look forward to sharing with our guests the striking combination of unspoilt landscapes, olive groves, pristine beaches and authentic Greek culture in the region.
The design, conceived by Tombazis & Associates Architects and K-Studio, aligns with Costa Navarino's sustainability principles, with planted roofs blending into the environment.
Travelers will benefit from the destination's other resort areas and can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities, from biking and hiking to rock climbing, tennis and water sports, as well as three golf courses in addition to those on the property. Numerous restaurants and recreational activities are also available at Navarino Dunes and Navarino Waterfront.
The hotel will be attached to Navarino Agora, an open market with shops, artisanal street food, an outdoor cinema and authentic local experiences day and night.
