The Lincoln Plaza London has joined the Curio Collection of the group Hilton Worldwide. It is the first hotel by the new brand in the United Kingdom.
Located in a 31-floor building in the British capital, the Lincoln Plaza will have 129 rooms. It will also have an athletics room, two restaurants and two bars, right near London City Airport, and the O2 Arena.
The future property will thus join Curio's international portfolio that currently consists of 50 hotels and 13,000 rooms in operation and under development. It is trying to develop a collection of contemporary properties, with a character that is already affirmed and a predilection for conversions of existing buildings. The brand recently entered Europe, with the opening of the Reichshof Hamburg Hotel in Germany, and plans to open addresses in Paris (Hôtel Astor Saint-Honoré) and Istanbul soon.
As of January 1, 2015, Hilton Worldwide was the second hotel group worldwide in terms of number of rooms with 708,268 units in 4,278 properties, according to MKG Hospitality, consulting firm founded by Georges Panayotis. (Read our report)
