In the absence of a successful world football championship, Cristiano Ronaldo is now a hit in the hotel business.

The Portuguese hotel group Pestana is developing a brand called CR7 with the footballer. Far from being a fashion trend, the brand has been expanding its offer for several years and plans to open its new property in 2021. The Pestana brand currently has two hotels: the first in Lisbon with 83 rooms and the second in Madeira with 189 keys. The announcement to open a 210-room hotel in Paris shows the company's desire to expand internationally. In concrete terms, this new property, representing an investment of €60 million, will be located between the Gare d'Austerlitz and Gare de Lyon stations. And as Juventus's new number 7 notes, "It makes perfect sense for the Pestana CR7 brand to move to Paris, one of the most visited cities in the world. By 2020, three more hotels are expected to open in Madrid, New York and Marrakech.
