
Courtyard by Marriott plans to operate 63 hotels in Europe within two years
The hotel chain plans to significantly increase its supply in Europe over the next two years. Courtyard intends to strengthen its portfolio in Germany, France and the United Kingdom and this year it has already opened the Courtyard Paris Gare de Lyon (249 rooms).
Courtyard also plans to enter new markets including Armenia (Yerevan), Croatia (Split), Finland (Tampere), Georgia (Batumi), Iceland (Keflavik), Macedonia (Skopje) and Romania (Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest Floreasca).

As of January 1, 2018, Courtyard by Marriott is ranked 50th hotel chain in Europe with 45 properties for a total of 8,519 rooms, according to Hospitality ON data.
