The citizenM boutique hotel brand continues its expansion in the United States. With two hotels operating in New York, the Dutch group announced the development of a third hotel in Miami.
After having already announced the development of two hotels in Miami, one in the financial district of Brickell (252 rooms) and another in Miami Beach (168 rooms), the group said it intended to open another hotel in Magic City. Located in Downtown Miami, the 12-storey hotel will include 348 rooms, a pool, a rooftop bar and a fitness area.
Ernest Lee, managing director, development & investment for citizenM US, said: "CitizenM's rollout strategy has always centered around following our guests - a group of modern travelers who frequent true live/work/play destinations within the world's gateway cities. We are very excited to join the Miami Worldcenter development, a transformative project that will offer a high quality mix of workplace, residential, dining, nightlife, shopping, conference, and transit outlets."
