
The hotel group announced the signature of a contract for the development of four properties in the country, including the first two of its newest brand Radisson Red.
This contract for multiple developments allows the Carlson Rezidor group to launch its new Radisson Red brand in Indonesia, but also to nearly double the pipeline of its brand Radisson on the market. The group now has a total of nine hotels under development in the country, with the Radisson Blu Bali Uluwatu, Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam, Radisson Jakarta Cengkareng, Radisson Medan and Park Inn by Radisson Lampung.
In the Asia Pacific on the whole, Carlson Rezidor currently has a portfolio of 101 hotels, and 90 other properties in the pipeline.
As of January 2015, Carlson Rezidor was the thirteenth largest hotel group worldwide with 172,234 units in 1092 properties according to MKG Hospitality, consulting firm founded by Georges Panayotis. (Read our report)
