Marriott International’s Autograph Collection announces two new properties in the cities of Zurich, in Switzerand, and Barcelona, in Spain.
Marriott International continues to develop its Autograph Collection in Europe with the opening of the brand on two new markets on the continent. The hotel group announced it would open one property each in Zurich and Barcelona next year.
The Kameha Grand Zurich should open its doors in the Swiss city in spring 2015. It will be the first Autograph Collection hotel in Switzerland and will have 245 rooms, three restaurants and meeting rooms. Also scheduled to open its doors in spring 2015, The Cotton House will be located in the center of Barcelona, in an emblematic 19th century building. The boutique hotel will have 83 rooms.
With 11,463 rooms on January 1, 2014, Autograph Collection was ranked 106th in the worldwide classification of hotel chains produced each year by MKG Hospitality, consulting firm for the hotel industry founded by Georges Panayotis .
