The brand will open several properties on the British market to feed its growth worldwide by 2023.

The product of a joint venture between Accor and Pierre et Vacances, Aparthotels Adagio recently announced its desire to double its portfolio to reach 220 units in the next four years. Projects are under construction in Brussels, Kiel, London, Suresnes, Zurich, Glasgow, Dubai, Fribourg, Bucarest and Sotchi, and openings are slated this summer in Paris and Djeddah (Saudi Arabia).

The British market - a market that is booming according to Karim Malak (Adagio) - is thus naturally an integral part of this growth strategy:

Consolidating the growing position of Adagio Aparthotel in the region is a key element in our ambitious global development strategy. In order to reach our goal to quadruple the number of aparthotels by 2023, we hired new local talents. (Karim Malak, CEO Adagio)

After an opening last October in Brentford (London), Aparthotels Adagio has a plans for openings in Great Britain, in the cities of:

  • Leicester, England (end 2019): 98 apartments.
  • Stratford, London (2020) : 136 apartments.
  • Saint Enoch, Glasgow (2021) : 162 apartments.
  • Whitechapel, London (2021) : 147 apartments, including 112 studios and 35 apartments with two rooms en suite.

Adagio Aparthotels plans to have 115 residences worldwide by the end of the year, which should result in a total volume of 13,000 apartments.
