The French group signed a management contract with Mawarid Finance for the development of a property within a multi-use real estate complex.

In order to prepare for a maximum of tourists for the World Expo 2020, Dubai had announced its desire to diversify its heretofore very upscale hotel offering. The Emirate thus encouraged the development of more affordable structures by implementing tax relief. It is about to become a reality as AccorHotels plans to develop its brand ibis Styles at the destination.

The French hotel group signed a management contract with Mawarid Finance to open a property under the brand in the Emirate, at the center of a multi-use real estate complex that is currently under construction. The ibis Styles Al Jaddaf will have 200 rooms and is scheduled to open in 2018. Located near the Cultural Village project, the property will have a restaurant, meeting rooms and a swimming pool.

The Al Jaddaf property will join the brand's portfolio in the Middle East, which currently includes seven hotels , two of which are in the United Arab Emirates. All brands included, the group operates more than 70 properties in teh region, for close to 19,500 rooms.
