Accor signs new ibis Styles in Ethiopia

The group expands its presence in Ethiopia after signing a management agreement with Yuluch Elyano Trading plc to open a new property under the economy brand ibis Styles. The new 150-room hotel will open in 2023.

The new ibis Styles Addis Ababa is conveniently close to the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, corporate institutions and embassies. The property targets families as well as regional and international business travellers. The 150-room hotel will also feature a restaurant, a gym, meeting spaces and parking.

The ibis Styles Addis Ababa joins Accor's growing portfolio of properties in Addis Ababa under brands such as MGallery, Mercure, Pullman and Mövenpick. The Ibis Styles brand is already present in other African markets, including Nairobi (Kenya) and Accra (Ghana), with a total of seven properties in operation in the Middle East and Africa and another seven under development.
