Marriott International announces the opening of its first AC Hotels by Marriott property in Paris. The 149-room AC Hotel Paris Porte Maillot aims to appeal to business and leisure travellers seeking sharp contemporary style when staying in Paris. The hotel joins two existing AC Hotels by Marriott properties in France - AC Hotel Ambassadeur Antibes-Juan les Pins and AC Hotel Nice in the south of France.
AC Hotels by Marriott was launched in 2011 as a joint venture between Marriott International and Spanish hotelier Antonio Catalán. Today, the brand has a portfolio of over 70 hotels in Spain, Italy, Portugal and France and a pipeline of more than 30 hotels set to open within the next three years throughout the U.S. and Latin America.
