The Environmental Label has approved its 2022 promotion. The park now includes 855 labelled tourist sites.
The Green Key brand continues to grow, with 855 winners in 2022, 141 more than the 2021 season. The hotel industry is leading the way in this year's competition, with more and more branded establishments committing to more sustainable use of their assets.
17 new campsites have also been awarded the label. However, the segment was overtaken by the dynamism of hard-standing accommodation.
36 new hoteliers belonging to the Best Western network, 18 Appart'City residences and 2 Marriott establishments, the Courtyard Paris Créteil and Courtyard By Marriott Gare de Lyon hotels, have entered the 2022 list after their actions have been checked and their applications have been reviewed by the jury.
The Pierre & Vacances group has also awarded the label to two more residences, while the InterContinental Bordeaux - Le Grand Hôtel and Lyon - Hôtel Dieu hotels have also been awarded the label.
The Akéna hotel in Rezé, the group's first eco-responsible hotel, has also received the label.
Finally, a myriad of independent hoteliers have also entered a sustainable circle by obtaining the Green Key.
The Expérimental Group has obtained the label for its two Paris establishments, the Hôtel des Grands Boulevards and the Grand Pigalle Hôtel. Reflection on the plants used in the gardens, work on food waste and solidarity actions, and waste sorting are some of the measures implemented by the group in its two establishments for more sustainable management.
