TUI Blue conquers Croatia

With the opening of the TUI Blue Jadran, in Croatia, the German group now operates seven properties under that brand since its launch in July 2016.

Launched in July 2016, the TUI Blue brand has now entered a new market with the opening of the TUI Blue Jadran. Located on the Makarska Riviera, on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, the new hotel will feature 161 rooms (including 23 suites), as well as 3 restaurants, 3 bars and an infinity pool.

“I am delighted that we are now complementing the TUI Blue portfolio with a hotel in Croatia,” stated Artur Gerber, Managing Director of TUI Blue. “We are looking forward to receiving feedback from our first guests.”

This is the seventh opening under the TUI Blue brand, following Turkey (2), Italy, Germany, Austria and Spain. The brand forecasts new developments in the near future, with the repositioning of TUI Hotels & Resorts’ hotels into TUI Blue properties, starting next summer in Mallorca, Djerba, Tunisia and Portugal.

As of January 1, 2017, TUI Hotels & Resorts is the 16th largest hotel group worldwide, with 303 properties and 97,739 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
