Soho House's next stop: Manchester

The international chain of private clubs, Soho House, which has diversified in to the luxury sector, has found a new stopping point in northern England.

After approving the "Manchester Grande" project designed by Levitt Bernstein Associates Ltd architecture and design studio, the group Soho House is preparing to open its first property in the second biggest British city. This club-hotel will have 150 rooms and offer working spaces, a movie theater, a concert hall, several bars and restaurants, as well as a swimming pool on the terrace. The Soho House Manchester address will be located within the space where Granadas Studios was located, which is where the first televised show of the Beatles was recorded in 1962.

Soho House is designed as an exclusive club for "creative": annual membership offers priority access to its properties at peak passage times and on weekends. Today the group has fifteen addresses worldwide, with 7 clubs in London, as well as properties in Chipping Norton, Berlin, Miami, New York, Chicago, West Hollywood, Toronto, and Istanbul.
