[Slideshow] Nobu Hotels opens a new address in Malibu
Nobu Hotels has inaugurated a new address in Malibu, USA: the Nobu Ryokan Malibu Hotel completes the hotelier's upscale portfolio. Other properties are currently in development.
The Nobu Hotels chain, founded by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and actor Robert de Niro, opened a new property in Malibu, California. Nobu Ryokan Malibu Hotel has a touch of Japanese-style zen design in this Californian hotel, which offers 16 rooms by the sea.
The hotel also features a restaurant, the Nobu Malibu, a fitness center, an outdoor pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean, lush gardens and access to Carbon Beach.
This property completes Nobu's portfolio, which already has three hotels in operation (in Manila, Miami and Las Vegas) and many others in development, including locations in London, Ibiza, Marbella and Toronto.
