New York's TriBeCa just gained a new address: the Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown which just opened its doors. It opened in an 82-floor skyscraper whose construction began in December 2013. A private residence operated by Four Seasons occupies the building's upper floors.
Four Seasons has announced the opening of its second property in the Big Apple. Located in Lower Manhattan, near Wall Street. This property offers 189 rooms and suites, two restaurants including one seating 146. It also offers a ballroom able to accommodate 175 guests, two seminar rooms, a fitness center and a spa. Moreover, this address also has a private residence of 157 apartments (one to five rooms) occupying the hotel's upper floors. This residence has its own entry and was developed in cooperation with Silverstein Properties- a company that also participated in the development of the new World Trade Center. The residents of this new address, located at 30 Park Place, may enjoy the hotel's services and infrastructures; it also has a panoramic view over Manhattan.
As of January 1,2016, the Canadian hotel group ranked 49th hotel operator worldwide, with 101 properties totaling 21,755 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
