The hotel group will take over the management of the The Lanesborough in London, which will reopen its doors in 2015 after full renovation.
Closed for renovations since 2013, the property should unveil its new face in Spring 2015, with 93 rooms including 743 suites, a spa, a restaurant and seven meeting rooms. The Lanesborough is located on Hyde Park Corner, near Buckingham Palace and Knightsbridge.
"The Lanesborough is undeniably a symbol in the hotel world. With its historic heritage and its own personal identity, it completes our 'masterpiece hotels' collection," stated Frank Marrenbach, CEO Oetker Collection.
Oetker Collection has a portfolio of nine hotels, of which it owns four: Le Bristol in Paris, the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc at Cap d'Antibes, the Château Saint-Martin in Provence, and Brenners Park Hotel in Baden Baden, Germany.
