Marriott International's Moxy Hotels brand has unveiled its ambitions to open in the Caribbean and South America
Moxy Hotels, which claims to be a brand offering affordable lifestyle hotels, opened its first property in 2014 in Milan. The brand is now present in other European countries (Austria, Germany, Norway, Poland, Netherlands, United Kingdom), the United States, Indonesia, and Japan and has announced projects in Latin America.
New destinations are expected to be proposed by 2020. As part of a strategy to expand the brand in Latin America, Marriott's lifestyle brand has announced four projects in the Caribbean, Central America and South America. Last week, the development of the first hotel in this region was signed: it will be located in Medellín and will have 165 rooms.
