Minor International is continuing its investments after completing the acquisition of NH Hotel Group (60,970 rooms as of January 1, 2018) this month for €2.3 billion and strengthening its position at Global Hotel Alliance for $3.2 million.
The Thai group made a strong entry into the European market with NH Hotel Group (308 properties and 46,558 rooms in Europe as of January 1, 2018 - Hospitality ON data) and continues its development in Asia with the possible acquisition of Hotel Leelaventure Ltd.
Including the acquisition of The Leela, Minor International's supply would consist of 82,984 rooms, placing it 19th in the world ranking of hotel groups as of January 1, 2018 Hospitality ON.
