MGallery opens a hotel in Budapest

The Accor is extending the presence of its brand internationally with the opening of the MGallery Nemzeti hotel in the city of Budapest in Hungary.

The Hotel Nemzeti of Busapest reopened under the MGallery brand. The 117-year-old establishment is the first hotel of the brand in Hungary and is part of the development strategy of luxury brands in the Accor group. Located near the theater of the same name, MGallery Nemzeti has 80 rooms.

"Accor is a major player on the upscale and luxury hotel scene, which it aims to expand to 400 hotels by 2015. MGallery is one of the spearheads of this strategy, with a target of 100 hotels by 2015. The Budapest Nemzeti hotel is perfectly in the MGallery spirit: architectural features, adapted to the quality of service and comfort of the twenty-first century, establishing a harmonious balance between tradition and boldness, power and elegance, past and present," said Gregory Champetier, Marketing Director at Accor
