Marriott International launches Tribute Portfolio in Argentina

The leading hotel group worldwide has announced it will introduce its independent hotel label in Argentina, resulting in the addition of two properties to its portfolio: the Arelauquen Lodge in Patagonia and the Auberge du Vin in the wine-making region of the Uco Valley.

Marriott International is growing its hotel portfolio with two addresses in Argentina in exceptional locations: the Auberge du Vin, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, in the Uco Valley, a fertile region in the central western part of the province of Mendoza. This region is renown for the quality of its vineyards. The second hotel: Arelauquen Lodge, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel will open in Patagonia, literally the "Land of the Bigfeet" offering rich and diversified natural heritage. These two independent properties will join the the independent hotel label by December 2016. 

The Auberge du Vin sis opening 1,400 meters above sea level. This 29-room property belongs to the Tupungato Winelands country club, which includes residences, a golf course, a grass field for Polo as well as vineyards. It has several meeting rooms, a restaurant, two swimming pools and a fitness center. The Arelauquen Lodge, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel near San Carlos de Bariloche, is located at the foot of the Andes. It offers 28 rooms, a restaurant and belongs to the Arelauquen Golf & Country Club which has an 18-hole golf course and two swimming pools. It also has a equestrian center and tennis courts as well as a nautical club.

Tribute Portfolio debuted in April 2015 with its first hotel, the Royal Palm South Beach Miami. In addition to Miami it has properties in London, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Jakarta and Hokkaido. The brand will soon open new hotels in Fort Lauderdale, Costa Mesa, Asheville, Nashville, Savannah and Charleston. As of January 1,2016, the new group consisting of Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts is the leading hotel operator worldwide, with 5,640 hotels totaling 1,108,852 rooms worldwide, according to data published by Hospitality-On.
