The Australian hotelier Mantra Group, which operates three distinct brands in the Asia/Oceania zone, decided to group them all under the same brand: Mantra Hotels.
The goal of this strategy is first and foremost to provide some coherence and homogeneity to its htoel supply, reflecting the intent to "encourage guests to live life outside the square" according to Tomas Johnsson, COO Mantra Hotels. Thus, in addition to the communications campaign orchestrated by the Australian group, a new web site was developed that includes all its different properties, whose footprint reaches Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Hawaii.
As of January 1, 2016, Mantra Group ranked 74th hotel group worldwide with 119 properties, for a total of 13,700 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
