The Mandarin Oriental Milan opens its doors

Discover the first pictures of the Asian hotel group's Milan address , established within a building dating from the 18the century.

Mandarin Oriental continues its travels to Major European cities. After taking over the management of the Ritz Madrid a bit earlier this year the hotel group announced the opening of a new address in Milan. the property opened just in time for Expo Milano 2015.

Opened in one of the city's historic residences dating from the 18th century, the Mandarin Oriental Milan has 104 rooms and suites. It is located on Via Andegari, which is near Milan's cultural, shopping and fashion centers. The property has a restaurant, Seta, that is run by the starred chef Antonio Guida, a bistro, the Mandarin Bar, and a spa.

The opening of the Mandarin Oriental Milan also marks the arrival of the Asian hotel group on the Italian market and brings the number of operational properties in the Europe, Middle East and Africa zone in its portfolio to eight. Mandarin Oriental currently has a network of 45 hotels in operation or under development, for a total of some 11,000 rooms in 25 countries: 20 addresses in Asia, 10 in the Americas and 15 in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
