InterContinental Hotels Group announces the opening of Staybridge Suites London Vauxhall in Spring Mews. The hotel is owned by Spring Mews (Hotel) Ltd and managed by Cycas Hospitality and under franchise with Intercontinental Hotels Group. It is IHG's 5th Staybridge Suites in the UK. The new build hotel features 93 suites with views of iconic landmarks such as the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye with London's eclectic Southbank just a short stroll away.

Mike Greenup, Vice President Brand Management Staybridge Suites, IHG said "We're thrilled to be opening Staybridge Suites London Vauxhall, our 5th hotel for the brand in the UK, in one of our key cities. With each suite having its own kitchen and the hotel putting on social gatherings, guests will experience a home away from home."

IHG launched the Staybridge Suites brand in 2005 and was the first global hotel company to launch an extended stay offering in the UK. There are currently five Staybridge Suites properties in Europe - Liverpool, Newcastle, London, Stratford, Birmingham and St.Petersburg with three more in the pipeline.

On January 1, 2014, InterContinental Hotels Group continued to be the first hotel group worldwide in terms of number of rooms, according to the ranking realized each year by MKG Hospitality, the hospitality consulting firm founded by Georges Panayotis.
