Hyatt Place strengthens its presence in Washington

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of Hyatt Place Washington, D.C./Downtown/K Street.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of its second Hyatt Place hotel in Washington D.C*. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown D.C., just two blocks from the White House.

The hotel owners, Atlanta-based Songy Highroads, LLC, and an affiliate of New York-based Elliott Management Corporation, purchased the site in 2013 and converted the existing 11-story office building into the new hotel. Aimbridge Hospitality will manage Hyatt Place Washington, D.C./Downtown/K Street.

The property offers 164 spacious guestrooms, a Gym, 2,800 square feet of flexible, high-tech meeting space,  1,200 square foot rooftop, the Bakery Cafe and 24/7 Gallery Menu serving made-to-order entrees and appetizers around the clock. 

Last week, Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of a new Hyatt Place in New York City.

*The first hotel is situated in Washington NoMa (North of Massachusetts avenue)
