Hyatt Place strengthens its presence in Chicago

Hyatt Place continues its development in Chicago and opens two hotels: one near Midway international airport and another in the city center.

Hyatt Place announced the opening of two new hotels in Chicago, near the International Midway airport and in the city center.

Hyatt Place Chicago/Midway Airport is located in the Midway Hotel Center campus, which includes nine other hotels, all managed by White Lodging Services. All hotels at the campus provide a free shuttle service to and from the airport, and the campus is located just 13 miles from downtown Chicago. It offers 148 rooms, free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel, complimentary a.m. Kitchen Skillet for guests, 2,000 square feet of flexible, high-tech meeting space, 24-hour fitness center and a patio.

Owned and managed by OTO Development, Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown-The Loop features 206 guestrooms, free Wi-Fi, complimentary a.m. Kitchen Skillet breakfast for guests, 1,800 square foot fitness center, 2,300 square feet of meeting and event space and 24/7 Gallery Menu serving made-to-order entrees and appetizers around the clock.

On January 1, 2015, Hyatt Hotels Corporation was the 14th group worldwide in terms of number of rooms with 152,986 units at 560 properties according to MKG Hospitality, consulting firm founded by Georges Panayotis. (Read our worldwide report).
