Hilton opens in Montenegro

Hilton Worldwide has announced its first implantation in one of the current favorite destinations: Montenegro.

The hotel group Hilton Worldwide continues to pursue international growth and has announced its first unit in Montenegro, in Podgorica, the capital. This property is operated under the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand and occupies the building of a hotel dating from 1953: the Crna Gora Hotel, which was an iconic institution particularly for locals. Located in the center of town near Biogradska Gora Park. the Hilton Podgorica Crna Gora offers 180 rooms (including 23 suites), a restaurant, two bars, including one with a panoramic view, and a spa. It also has five conference rooms and a ballroom able to accommodate up to 435 guests.

As of January 1, 2016, Hilton Worldwide ranked 2nd in the worldwide ranking of hotel groups, with 4,565 properties, or 751,350 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
