With the announcement of seven new signatures throughout the Andean country, the hotel group pursues its ambitious goals to develop in Latin America.
With just one property operating in Peru today, the brand Hilton Garden Inn will durably establish itself in the country, with the forthcoming opening of three properties in the capital: the hotel Hilton Garden Inn Lima Surco (71 rooms) with an opening scheduled for the end of the year, the high-capacity address Hilton Garden Inn Lima Miraflores (250 rooms), and the co-branded Hilton Garden Inn/Homewood Suites by Hilton Lima San Isidro, with, respectively, 180 and 100 keys. Finally, the DoubleTree by Hilton Iquitos will welcome its first clients in Peru's Amazon region from the first semester 2017. A conversion, it will have 65 rooms.
The Hilton Worldwide group currently has 90 hotels operating in Latin America, representing a portfolio of 15,500 rooms. In Peru, it currently operates the Hilton Lima Miraflores, DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Paracas, El Pardo DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, and Hilton Garden Inn Cusco. As of January 1, 2016, Hilton Worldwide was the second operator worldwide in terms of number of rooms, according to preliminary data published by MKG Consulting. At the time, the portfolio included 4,565 hotels in operation, for a total of 751,350 rooms.
