Hampton by Hilton has landed in the northeast of Scotland

The Hilton Worlwide brand, Hampton by Hilton, has just opened a new hotel in northeastern Scotland: the Hampton by Hilton Aberdeen Airport.

Hilton Worldwide invested £ 34 million for the opening of two new hotels in the northeastern Scotland in Aberdeen and Westhill. The Hampton by Hilton Aberdeen Airport is the first to open its doors.

Located near the Aberdeen airport, the Gordon Highlanders Museum and the Aberdeen Maritime Museum, the unit offers 155 rooms, a fitness center and a business center. The opening of the second hotel (173 beds in Westhill) is expected to take place in spring 2017.

As of January 1, 2016, Hilton Worldwide was the second hotel operator worldwide in terms of number of rooms, according to data published by MKG Consulting. Its portfolio consisted of 4,565 operational hotels, for a total of 751,350 rooms.
