Grupo Posadas accelerates development in Mexico

The Mexican group wishes to reinforce its presence in the country by opening 10 establishments per year under one of its six hotel brands.

Thanks to an aggressive asset disposal strategy, Grupo Posadas is able to announce the acceleration of its development in Mexico. Its CEO, José Carlos Azcárraga, has also revealed the ambition to reinforce its presence in the country at the rate of 10 hotel openings per year.

The Mexican hotel group has just inaugurated a new hotel in the city of Oaxaca, the One Oaxaca Centro. Representing an investment of about three million euros, the three-star establishment brings the One brand portfolio to 20.

The group currently has a network of 18 000 rooms to about a hundred hotels, operated under one of its six brands: Live Aqua, Fiesta Americana Grand, Fiesta Americana, The Explorean, Fiesta Inn, and One.
