Four Seasons to open in Vietnam

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, the Canadian hotel group announces the development of its first resort at Hoi An, in Vietnam. This unit was previously operated by the Singapore group GHM. Its opening is scheduled next December.

The Nam Hoi is the first hotel to be operated by the Four Seasons hotel group in Vietnam. This operation is further to a joint-venture between Hotel Properties Limited (HPL) and ASB Development Limited. The property is currently being renovated and 40 villas have been added to the 60 existing ones. The resort is located in the shoreline town of Hoi An, south of Da Nang. In addition to these 90 villas, it will offer three swimming pools and three restaurants. It will also have a fitness center, tennis courts and a spa.

The Nam Hai, Hoi An was, until today, operated by the Singapore group GMH. It currently includes the resorts portfolio of the Four Seasons group in Asia Pacific.  This operator now owns two resorts in Bali, two private islands in the Maldives and three resorts in Thailand as well as a resort in Bora Bora and Langkawi. As of January 1, 2016, the Canadian hotel group ranked 49th hotel operator worldwide, with 101 properties for a total of 21,755 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
