Four Seasons announced its new unit in Kyoto is slated to open in October 2016. It will be the brand's second address in Japan, a quickly-expanding tourist market. First views of the future Kyoto hotel have been unveiled:
Four Seasons announced it would open a new hotel in Japan on October 16, 2016. Located in the former capital city of the Japanese Emperor, Kyoto, the property will offer 123 rooms and 57 residences.
Settled within a traditional Japanese garden (shakusuien ikeniwa) dating back from the 12th-century, the property will offer no less than four F&B outlets: a brasserie, a traditional sushi shop (seating max. 10 people), a lounge with a view on the garden, a traditional Japanese tea room, plus 570 m² of meeting space, a wedding chapel and a spa area featuring all the amenities.
