A Four Points by Sheraton hotel opens in Hainan, China

Marriott International has just announced the opening of a Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Hainan, China. This is the third brand's property of the located on the island.

Marriott International's Four Points by Sheraton brand continues to expand in the Asia Pacific region with the opening of a new property in Hainan, China. It is situated in Danzhou, a coastal city on the western side of the island known for its coastline. Located close to the city's largest shopping center, the hotel offers 194 rooms and suites, as well as three restaurants and bars, a coffee house, a meeting area of more than 1,800 square meters and a 760 square meter reception hall.

As of January 1, 2016, Marriott International is the largest global hotel operator in terms of number of rooms, with 5,640 properties and 1,108,852 rooms worldwide, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
