The Danish chain Zleep Hotels gets a new address in Aalborg

Zleep Hotels has announced it will build a property in the center of the city of Aalborg in Denmark. It is expected to open in 2019.

The Danish chain Zleep Hotels is returning to Jutland with the opening of a new property in the city of Aalborg. It will offer 126 rooms and will be located in the city center, near the train station and Aalborg Congress & Culture Center. It will also include a restaurant for breakfast and will be developed in collaboration with the A. Enggaard company, builder and owner of the building. This new property whose construction will begin at the end of 2017, should welcome its first guests in 2019.

“I’ve been closely following the exceptional business developments of Aalborg in previous years – and having spent most of my life in Aalborg myself, it is with great pleasure that we open a hotel in the city to be part of its continuing growth,” declared Peter Haaber, CEO of the brand. As a reminder, Zleep Hotels previously operated a hotel in the city between 2007 and 2011.

Founded in 2003, the chain currently operates a portfolio of 9 hotels in Denmark totaling 848 rooms. Two other projects are also under development, and the announced objective is to reach a portfolio of 20 properties by 2020.
