The signature of this agreement will nearly triple Carlson Rezidor's hotel operations portfolio in the Kingdom, which currently includes seven properties, while 15 other hotels are currently under development, with an opening scheduled in the next 30 months.

On January 1, 2014, Carlson Rezidor was 10th hotel group worldwide in terms of number of rooms, according to the ranking realized each year by MKG Hospitality, consulting firm founded by Georges Panayotis. The group had 1079 hotels for 168,927 rooms. (read our report)
