Best Western expands its portfolio in Japan

Best Western announced the opening of an additional unit in Okinawa. It becomes the third hotel operated by the group in this archipelago located in the south of Japan.

Best Western speeds up the pace of its development in Japan. After the recent inauguration of a property in Tokyo, the Rembrandt Hotel Tokyo Machida, the hotel group announced the opening of a new unit in Okinawa archipelago, south of the city of Nago. This 10-storey building is located on the coastline of Nago Bay. It offers 56 rooms, a restaurant, as well as a business center.

Olivier Berrivin, Best Western Hotels & Resorts Managing Director of International Operations – Asia said: “Okinawa has always been a tourism hotspot for Japanese travelers, and an increasing number of international visitors are now starting to discover this idyllic topical island. With multiple international flights now landing in Okinawa, including new direct charter services from Singapore, this tropical paradise is more accessible than ever before.

The hotel group currently operates 14 properties across Japan, including three addresses in Okinawa: BW Okinawa Onna Beach, BW Naha Inn and this unit at Kouki Beach.
