Wyndham Hotel Group and Grand City Hotels signed an agreement earlier this year to rebrand 43 hotels, having since grown to 60 hotels for over 7,500 rooms. The two groups are continuing this alliance for a European expansion which will see 17 establishments for 2,300 rooms in Germany and Austria primarily.According to Wyndham's senior vice president and managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, the continuation of this partnership, especially in Germany and Austria, is the "next logical step" in the brand's European expansion after a successful brand debut in Germany earlier this year.
