Wyndham Hotel Group Enters New Zealand with Two Ramada Hotels

Wyndham Hotel Group today announced its entrance into New Zealand with the opening of two Ramada hotels on the country’s North Island.

The properties include the beachfront Ramada Suites Paihia, formerly Edgewater Palms Apartments, and the Ramada Suites Nautilus Orewa just north of Auckland, formerly Nautilus Orewa Beach. Both properties are owned by Marsden Asset Management Ltd.In addition to these newest properties, Wyndham Hotel Group currently has a portfolio of nine hotels throughout the South Pacific, with hotels in Australia, Guam, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.Ramada Suites Paihia is a 34-suite complex built in January 2006.The Ramada Suites Nautilus Orewa is a 12-level development with 152 rooms with facilities that are ideal for conferences and that feature a range of meeting spaces.In addition to these newest properties, Wyndham Hotel Group currently has a portfolio of nine hotels throughout the South Pacific, with hotels in Australia, Guam, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
