The Trump Organization has made a bid to purchase the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami for 170 million

The Trump Organization has bid to pay US$170 million for the Doral Golf Resort & Spa, aproperty in Miami.The Wall Street Journal reported that Ivanka Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump, had a lead role in the negotiations.Winthrop Realty Trust and Paulson & Co. entered the luxury resort into bankruptcy on early 2011. Being that Trump's offfer is not peak price, the property is still up for auction.According to Bloomberg, Withrop suggested that the transaction with Trump will be completed in the first quarter of 2012.“They [Trump] pushed hard to get the deal done,” said Michael Ashner, Winthrop CEO in an interview with Bloomberg.The Wall Street Journal reported that Ivanka Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump, had a lead role in the negotiations.
