The Saudi Arabian commercial hub of Jeddah has been seeing a rising demand for extended stay brands, partially due to its large expat community, which is being met in part with IHG's Staybridge Suites. The brand should be making its Saudi Arabian debut in Al Andalus Mall, following the signing of a 15 year management agreement with Al Andalus Property.According to Pascal Gauvin, Chief Operating Officer, India, Middle East & Africa, IHG, “We expect Jeddah's popularity to be compounded by the redevelopment of the Corniche area and by major investments in the city’s airport. Demand for extended stay apartments is high and we see a strong future ahead for Staybridge Suites in Jeddah and Saudi Arabia”.Staybridge Suites Al Andalus Mall will offer 164 guestrooms in Al Andalus Square. The square is currently under development on King Abdullah Street in the heart of the new city center.
