
The hotel group is ccontinuing its development in Turkey with a management agreement for two hotels in the city Bursa, under the Sheraton and Aloft brands.
Starwood Hotels and Resorts is expanding its network in Turkey with the addition of the Sheraton Bursa and the Aloft Bursa through an agreement owner with Faik Celik Holding. The deal marks a network of 9 hotels and 300 rooms across Turkey. Both hotels will be located in Bursa, an emerging business and upscale residential area. They will also both be adjacent to the Cultural Green Park and upcoming football stadium.The Sheraton Bursa will feature 171 guestrooms, including 10 suites.. The hotel is Ottoman-inspired, and the spa offers a traditional Turkish hammam aside from 6 treatment rooms. Other features include several dining options, a pool, a fitness area, and garden area accommodating up to 600 guests.The Aloft Bursa will offer 133 rooms, with Aloft's signature loft-like style aesthetics, connectivity, and dynamic public spaces. Other Aloft signature features include the xyz bar which includes a terrace, the re:charge fitness center and Splash pool, and re:fuel deli.The Starwood Hotels group is poised to grow by 30% in 2013, with its 75th hotel to open later this year.
